Description
Aluminium -Strontium is available in tablet & rod form and elements percentage of Al- 5% Sr & 10% Sr.
The purpose of Modifying eutectic and hypo-eutectic Al- Si alloys is to change the Silicon phase from accicular to Spheroidal or globular form. The ” Modified” structure results improved mechanical properties in both as cast and heat treated condition. Strontium is Permanent Modifier.
